“The best colour in the world is the one that looks good on you.” Coco Chanel
Hats, hats… we love them but we do not wear them. Is it true? Absolutelly not! Here I want to show you some of my handmade and hand shaped woolen hats. I form them manually and make a decoration myself. I manage to get the hat blocks from an old local hat manufacture which unfortunatelly had to be closed due to unfair market competition with the mass produce companies. I spent a lot of time choosing the names of my hats searching some examples of famous women who were wearing the same or similar hats in the past.

The legendary Fedora hat.
The wooden Fedora hat block arrived! Beautiful, shinny and still smells with fresh varnish! I chose fire red wool and the result is awesome!

“Sophia” a hat with a large brim and round head.
Dimentions: (10 cm front, 9 cm back, 12 cm height).
I can say that it is the most “visible” one in my collection. It makes impression!
The movie star Sophia Loren has long been considered a style icon, not without a reason. She has timeless taste and embodies the classic Italian woman.

“Jackie” a toque hat, really elegant one especially with the veil.
This kind of hat is made on the wooden hat block which was used in the past by one of the Polish hat factories in Skoczów. I was lucky to get one and now it is in my collection. Great experience and unforgettable emotions!

“Roma” cylindrical hats very popular now and in the past.

I called this hat Roma. I have in my collection of wooden blocks a cylindrical head and two kinds of brims: a narrower one and a wider.
In the picture you can see Emma Watson in a little cute cylindrical hat.

“Lady Diana” a red hat with a wide, slightly asymetrical brim twisted upwards.
The name I chose for this lovely, unique hat is DIANA.
“As princess, Diana was initially noted for her shyness, but her charisma and friendliness endeared her to the public…. Considered to be very photogenic, she was a leader of fashion in the 1980s and 1990s. “

“Greta” a cloche hat.
This kind of cloche hat was very popular in 1920’s and 30’s.
Greta Garbo one of the world’s most popular film stars and a model was wearing it frequently. Maybe in the past the colours were a little different but I like this green hue.
