About
Ewa Seliga
Hi, thank you for visiting my profile. I am a textile artist from Cracow, Poland. I have been interested in art from my childhood but sometimes our life goes in different directions. I love felting, embroidery and mixmedia techniques but everytime I start a new project I find a lot of new ways and adventures. I started my art journey 12 years ago and now I am just at the place where I am. Everything happens for a reason!
Passion and Love
These sentences can easily show my entusiasm and attitude to all art forms. Actually, I am convinced that working with high quality, natural and easily recyclable materials can not only bring fun but also respect our World we live in. The Zero Waste rule is one of my priorities and I design according to it with high concern for the nature and environment. Sometimes even a small piece or scrap of material can inspire and motivate us to use our imagination.
I designed some collections like: „My art journeys – cubism#2 Picasso”, „ My art journeys – art naif”, „Colourful memories”, „My colourful landscapes”, “My reading of Olga Tokarczuk’s Nobel Literature”, etc.
During these challenging years I have had some possibilities to learn and work with some great and inspiring textile artists like: Ariane Mariane, Chariy Van der Meer, Marijke van Welzen and Judit Pocs.
„Turn your passion into a career and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
It is true! It still brings me fun, happiness and positive energy. I hope you can feel it looking at my colourful, vibrant and bright dresses, vests, scarves and accessories.
